Salviamo il Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino

I've sung several times at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, that's why I know all the people working there are extremely dedicated professionals who have a genuine passion for opera. Unfortunately, as things stand right now, their professionalism, their passion, their dedication alone aren't enough to let Maggio Musicale live on. If Maggio Musicale ended, that would mean losing artistic and cultural heritage, not only for Florence, the place where opera was born, but for the whole world. That would mean depriving the world of something beautiful and alive, ad surrendering to the gradual decline of culture. We must ask, indeed we must demand this heritage isn't taken away from us all.
