In Broadview, Chicago, more than 18 people were arrested on Friday during anti-ICE protests outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. These protests have been ongoing for five consecutive weeks and are linked to the Trump administration’s “Operation Midway Blitz” immigration enforcement action, which has targeted thousands in the Chicago area.
