One of the most underrated strength moves there is.
And here’s the best part… you can change the difficulty without changing the exercise:
• Seat height (lower = harder)
• Couch vs chair vs recliner
• How soft or “squishy” the surface is
• Using armrests or no hands at all
• Slow and controlled vs quicker reps
Start simple.
👉🏼 Just 5 reps. That counts.
But if you’re watching a show…
Try doing sit-to-stands for the length of a commercial or even the entire ad break.
That can easily turn into 30–50 reps without ever “working out.”
You’re already sitting there anyway.
Why not stack movement into something you already do?
This is how strength, balance, and independence are built… consistently, over time, in real life.
