the most traumatic experience of my life was holding my 1 year old baby in my arms while her tiny body went into a fit for more than 12 minutes. by the time we got her to the hospital she was still having smaller yet just as terrifying episodes. they put it down to her high temperature and reasured me that it is quite common in young children, effecting 5 in 100.
she is still unwell and tested positive for the dreaded virus, luckily i think she is over the worst of it now.
i have a lot of research to do now.
