Patella Tendon Rupture Evaluation

Check out this Patella Tendon Rupture Evaluation on a 14 y/o male. Here is my Patella Tendon Rupture checklist:
✅ Hyperflexion injury.
✅ Prior history of extensor mechanism injury.
✅ Swelling in and around the patella tendon.
✅ A "divot" in the patella tendon.
✅ Inability to perform a straight leg raise.
✅ High riding patella.
✅ Hyperextended knee posture with weight bearing.

Be sure to get an x-ray right away and consult with an orthopedic surgeon.
