A section of social media users is demanding the arrest of Advocate Deepika Singh Rajawat of Kathua Case fame, who posted a controversial cartoon on her Twitter handle. ‘Irony,’ captioned Deepika Rajawat while posting the cartoon showing a man touching the feet of the deity during Navratri and the same man holding both the legs of a woman during the rest of the days. Questions are being raised as to whether the Hindu festivals are being targeted only because Hindus, as a community, are tolerant and do not come out on the streets to oppose such interference in their traditions and festivals. This matter needs to be considered.
