In our previous video (part 1), we had covered the process of fertilization and some cleavages that occur during implantation, now we are going to see how the further cleavages occur and zygote finally implanted to the uterus.

As you have already watched in previous video about first cleavage of zygote which is a meridional division and two new cells formed. Now as the zygote moves toward the wall of uterus, various cleavages start occurring and the number of cells within the membrane increases.

When the zygote starts dividing completely it is characterized by "holoblastic cleavage". Before reaching to the implantation stage it moves through various cell stages like morula, blastula etc. And various new structures like trophoblast, blastocoel, inner cell mass start forming.

Lastly these new structures help in implantation of the zygote to the uterus by transforming the zygote structure like forming chorionic villi, hatching etc.

What? after zygote is implanted to uterus.
- Once zygote is implanted to uterus, its further embryonic development, formation of germ layer, various organs initiates which will be covered in next videos.
