Making a D.I.Y. Louis Vuitton Cowboy Wallet! (Part 2)

To finish up our DIY Louis Vuitton Cowboy Wallet, we needed to make the interior! We made the interior of this wallet with natural vegetable tanned leather, similar to the Vachetta Louis Vuitton uses. We hand stitched the interior with yellow threads, and added a zipper utilizing the original Louis Vuitton zipper pull from the bag we took apart. Our Sponsor Weaver Leather provided us the leather and many of the hand tools used in this project, so a big thanks to them!

This DIY Louis Vuitton Cowboy Wallet came out really nice, and should bring new life into the reclaimed Louis Vuitton fabric. We were sure to use the best vegetable tanned leather we could (Hermann Oak), and by hand stitching this wallet we will be able to make simple saddle stitch repairs at any time in the future should we need to.
