How I Troubleshoot and Repair my Black+Decker Cordless Sweepers 20V (LSW221)

o This presentation provides a demonstration of how I Troubleshoot and Repair my Black+Decker Cordless Sweepers 20V (LSW221) when they experience “Startup Problems” - which I define as when they won’t turn on after a single attempt to turn them on with the Power Button or if it takes multiple attempts to turn them on with the Power Button.

o I own a total of two Black + Decker Cordless Sweepers 20V (LSW221); I bought them approximate time in 2020; they have both experienced the same Startup Problems; and they both still work just fine in large part because I’ve used this simple Trouble Shooting and Repair Process numerous times to keep them in working order.

o In my experience the Startup Problems with my Sweepers (LSW221) are normally caused or related to one or a combination of three basic reasons which are 1) a low charged or weak battery, 2) the Battery Receiver and Terminal Pins need to be cleaned, 3) (and/or) the Sweepers have a worn Switch/Switch Button.

o Four Troubledhoot and Repair Steps
1. Change the Battery
2. PowerCheck the Sweeper
3. Clean the Battery Receiver and Terminal Pins
4. Check the Sweeper for a Worn Switch

o Equipment List – Foam Swab Sticks, 1 x 20V Battery, 1 x 20V Battery Charger
