How to transition to a descent after falling while rope solo climbing.

How to top rope solo climb? You need to know how to escape a rope solo setup after falling on an overhang. If you fall while rope solo climbing and can not stand on footholds to unweight your device it can be hard to release the tension in the system and rappel out. This video describes the technique I use to transition from climbing to descending.

This is an update to my last video: changes include: a sling connection between my waist device and chest device, adding a catastrophe knot, and wrapping the stirrup prusik above my devices rather than below.
