Conil de la Frontera is a Spanish municipality in the province of Cádiz, in Andalusia. The phrase "de la Frontera" refers to the Granada border. In 2016 it had 22,427 inhabitants. Its municipal area occupies 88.51 km² and is limited by the Atlantic Ocean to the west. It is one of the most picturesque towns on the Costa de la Luz, with places of high ecological and historical value. Its economy is based on seasonal tourism and, to a lesser extent, on agriculture and fishing. In summer its population has reached 110,000 people.3

It is located at an altitude of 41 meters from sea level and 43 kilometers from the provincial capital, Cádiz.
