The Indian Grand Prix | What Went Wrong? Ft. @Josh Revell

India, located in South Asia, is the second most populated country in the world. India is known for it’s beautiful tourist attractions, such as the Taj Mahal, and many national parks, it’s incredible street food and India is also home to the most Tigers in a single country. The people of India also love their sports, with the most popular sport in the country being cricket. But not too long ago, India hosted 3 Formula One races. From 2011 until 2013, Formula One visited India for what was the Indian Grand Prix. India had proven to be a great market for F1 with a large fanbase excited to have Formula One holding races in their country. Between 2010 and 2012, two Indian F1 drivers were on the grid, Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok, Force India was also, at the time, getting pretty settled in Formula One and with the addition of India hosting a Grand Prix, it was all starting to come together nicely for the country. The Buddh International circuit was well designed and is still missed by racing fans to this day. We also witnessed some iconic moments at the Indian Grand Prix which would remain in the hearts and minds of F1 fans and would be a reminder of a certain drivers era of pure dominance. This is the story of the Indian Grand Prix, what went wrong?
