HAWAII of the PHILIPPINES!!! (Mararison Island, Antique Travel Guide)

Traveled from Roxas City to visit the best island of Antique - The Mararison Island! It is said that it's like the Hawaii of the Philippines because it's overlooking the tallest mountain of Panay which is Mount Madjaas.

From Culasi Port, you can ride a boat to Mararison island for only 15 minutes. In the summer season, they said that the hills resembles Batanes, Philippines. During the rainy season, however, it can look like the beautiful mountains of Hawaii.

How to go to Mararison Island:
From Kalibo or Caticlan, ride a bus to Culasi, travel time is about two hours and the fare is around Php 110-150 ( USD 2-3). At Culasi Port, boat can be hired for Php 800- 1,000 (good for five PAX, round trip).

Homestays are available on the island which would be around Php 200-300 (USD 4-6) per person a night.
