How To Play A Beginner Friendly G Chord On Guitar

In this Guitar Lesson, I show you how to play the first chord that I recommend to all beginner guitarists. The one finger G chord.
By placing your third finger on the third fret of the high e string and strumming four strings (the D,G,B,e) you'll play your first chord.

Theres different reasons why this chord is so great for beginners, here's some of them.

You only need to use one finger to play it.
You only have to fret the high e string, so there's less chance of hitting any other string by accident.
Its easy to move from one chord to another if you use the correct fingers
The third fret is a lot easier for beginners to press down in order to make a sound compared to other frets.
