Bandari Trance - Syavash Rastani & Javid Pajazdan سیاوش رستانی و جاوید پایزدان – موسیقی بندری

Bandari music originated along the southern Iranian coast and was influenced by Arabian and African immigrants. Formative instruments are the ney-anban (Persian bagpipe) and the drums tombak and darbouka. Part of the music’s essence is the instrumental improvisation without consultation, eye contact and notes. Feeling and dedication of the musicians is the only deciding factor for the effect of the intoxicating sounds that can still be heard today at weddings, births, and ritual occasions. "Bandari Trance" is a group living in Cologne/Germany with Persian roots.

Die Bandari-Musik entstand entlang der südiranischen Küste und wurde von arabischen und afrikanischen Einwanderern beeinflusst. Prägende Instrumente sind die Ney-Anban (der persische Dudelsack) sowie die Trommeln Tombak und Darbouka. Zum Wesen dieser Musik gehört das improvisierte instrumentale Spiel ohne Absprache, Augenkontakt und Noten. Das Gefühl und die Hingabe der Musiker sind allein entscheidend für die Wirkung der berauschenden Klänge, die auch heute noch bei Hochzeiten, Geburtsfeiern und rituellen Anlässen zu hören sind. "Bandari Trance" ist eine in Köln beheimatete Musikgruppe mit persischen Wurzeln.
