Chinese Diesel Air Heater Part 13 All in one diesel air heater

This is a basic review and bench test on what is commonly called an ""All In One Diesel Air Heater" It is a portable air heater.

In the steel frame is a standard 5KW Chinese Diesel Air heater, (Eberspacher copy, not Webasto copy)). However the one I bought is certainly not a turn key model.

You will have to make up your own exhaust system and air intake system. Also mine did not come with a fuel filter so you will need to install your own.The included connect wires to the frame were also of minimum thickness to carry the start and shutdown current of 8 to 10 amps, and they were not fused.

Once set up properly it was a very good portable heater, one you could move around easily. However, being a combustion style heater, you must make sure the exhaust is correctly ducted away from the living spaces.

WARNING - There are some eBay sellers advertising these heaters, but only providing the outer shell, with no heater or internals. You MUST CAREFULLY READ THE DESCRIPTION to see just what you are getting when ordering one of these heaters.
