HENDAYA
Hendaya es una localidad fronteriza francesa del departamento de Pirineos Atlánticos.
Se sitúa en el territorio de la antigua provincia de Labort, junto a la frontera con España y a 21 km de San Sebastián. El nombre significa Bahía Grande.
La ciudad es un importante puerto pesquero y cuenta con una estación de ferrocarril internacional.
En el puerto se encuentra la sede de Tribord, la marca de deportes acuáticos de Decathlon.
Entre los atractivos de la localidad, destaca un balneario, famoso en toda la región. Alrededor del 50% de las viviendas pertenecen a guipuzcoanos.
Es conocida históricamente por ser la ciudad donde se entrevistaron Franco y Hitler en 1940.
Limita al norte con el mar Cantábrico , al este y al sur con Urruña y al oeste con el río Bidasoa y la Bahía de Txingudi , que la separa de España (Irún y Fuenterrabía).

The city is an important fishing port and has an international train station.
The harbor is home to Tribord, water sports brand Decathlon.
Among the attractions of the resort features a spa, famous throughout the region. About 50% of households are in Gipuzkoa.
It is historically known for being the city where Franco and Hitler met in 1940.
Bounded on the north by the Cantabrian Sea to the east and south and west Urruña River and Bay Bidasoa Txingudi, which separates Spain (Irun and Hondarribia).
