When our partners do not read our minds, we grow uncomfortable, become triggered and can lash out. Codependency in relationships can be incredibly toxic and one of the ways a manipulative codependent can lash out is by using the silent treatment against the partner that did not behave in a way that the codependent partner wanted them to.
