Loading Backroads GPS maps on the Garmin Oregon Series Handheld GPS

In this video you will learn how to load the Backroads GPS map card into your Garmin Oregon GPS. The microSD card comes in a SD adapter so the first step is to remove it from the adapter then insert it into the GPS unit. Once the Backroads map is in the GPS you can verify that it is working in a couple ways. You can check via the map settings or the map screen. In some cases you will need to turn a map in the internal memory off to see the topo map on the microSD.

Backroads is a great addition to any Garmin GPS unit that will be used in Canada. It will show you more information than available in Garmin Topo Canada.
