Don Everly Of The Everly Brothers Dies Aged 84 - The Cause Of Death Is Natural

Don Everly of the iconic rock 'n' roll duo the Everly Brothers has died at the age of 84 at his home in Nashville.

The singer's family told the through a spokesperson this Saturday that he had passed on that day.

His death comes seven years after he lost his brother Phil, with whom he formed the iconic rock 'n' roll duo that rocketed them both to stardom.

The dynamic duo shot to fame with a string of hits that included All I Have To Do Is Dream and Wake Up Little Susie in the 1950s, but broke-up in 1973 after their relationship broke down. However they later reunited a decade later and proved to be a popular draw on the nostalgia circuit.

Their trailblazing style saw them elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005.

Don leaves behind four children as well - Erin, who at one point was married to Axl Rose, two other daughters called Stacy and Venetia and a son called Edan.
