Amazing story by Barry McGuire - Trippin' the 60's - about Scott McKenzie "San Francisco Song"

Barry McGuire tells a wonderful Backstory to John Phillip's song "San Francisco, which became a huge hit for Scott McKenzie. This song was recorded at a live show of Barry McGuire with John York - "Trippin' the 60's". A DVD of the show is recently completed, and will be available soon. This story and song are a small part of over two hours of material that will be released in the fall. "If You're Going To San Francisco Be Sure To Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair" had the longest title of any Rock and Roll song. McGuire and York were dear friends with Phillips, McKenzie and Doherty.
