2021 National Nurses Week at VA Palo Alto Health Care System

In celebration of National Nurses week, VA Palo Alto celebrates the commitment and contribution of our nurses. The week begins on May 6th and ends on May 12th, the birthday of pioneer nurse, Florence Nightingale. This year’s theme of “Nurses Make A Difference” could not be more appropriate, we all endured the trials of this pandemic. When we asked our nurses what helped them get through the pandemic and why they became nurses, many jumped at the chance to share their story. Happy Nurses Week!
