Solo Winter Hunting Camp. Small game hunting is upon us in Colorado. One of my favorite adventures making a simple camp, fire and hunting up dinner. Sometimes luck finds it way and other times not so much. Temperatures dropped below 0 degrees and the days were short, but the adventure was great.

This trips gear was my standard blade, blanket and bottle. I included the bow for hunting and a hand-drill friction fire set to expedite my fire making. I also wore some pretty standard clothes; anorak, Fjall Raven pants, winter boots and thermals.
