Philips Norelco multigroom....not a product review, a comment on waste, and packaging at its worst!

I purchased this trimmer at costco, I am not in any way complaining about the Philips Norelco multigroom trimmer, I am simply just making a point that this is what drives cost through the roof in america. a tiny item in a massive box inside and even more massive box. this entire product along with its accessories could have fit inside a box the size of a VHS tape, if anyone knows what that is anymore. just think of the waste with millions of these being shipped around the country in these boxes how much space that is consuming inside of a truck or a rail car. there's reasons behind it, can anyone explain it to me??
