We Hike Escalante’s Spooky & Peek-a-boo Slot Canyons | Landscape Photography & Milky Way Photography

Brendon and Drew head out to southern Utah to capture Milky Way Photography at Escalante National Monument. Bonus of Milky Way Photography is the chance to do daytime Landscape Photography as well and get as much Photography in as possible! When they found themselves with extra time during the day, they hit up Spooky and Peek-A-Boo slot canyons. Slot Canyon Photography is amazing and while this was a first time scouting trip more than anything, you will see that it is impossible to come away from Red Rock Slot Canyons without Beautiful Portfolio Worthy Landscape Photography Images!

At the beginning of the hike, Brendon and Drew met a man named Hartley that became their guide for the day and later on a rescuer! Watch the full video!

As Brendon, Drew and Hartley hiked the canyons they saw a few other people in there. One family they saw earlier in the canyon had gotten separated later that day. The mom of the family asked them, at the top of the trail, if they had seen her family members. They didn't, so she told them how she and her two boys went a different route back to the cars. So, three members of her family were still down by the canyons with no water and temps reaching 90°+.

Drew remembered that his DJI Inspire 2 was in the back of the car!
Hartley agree to hike down and bring the lost members water. With Hartley's help Drew located the family with the drone! Hartley then hiked down to the family with cool water and guided them back to their car.

What more can we say! All in all a fun trip, good photography and always an Adventure!
