Grindavik is preparing for a volcanic eruption after hundreds of small earthquakes shook south-western Reykjanes Peninsula over the past two weeks.

Reports of massive roads cracking, ground shaking and buildings suffering damage have occurred due to “magma intrusion” in Grindavík.
