Morty and Kyle Easter Eggs - Rick and Morty Season 5

Morty and Kyle find an empty portal gun in C-137's garage. It is quite similar to the portal gun used by evil rick in season 3 and in C-137's backstory in season 5. Mr Nimbus knows about kyle and kyle's insanity brings the rick outa morty. Never seen a kyle in the citadel and ricks dont go for other sidekicks. Could kyle be a grown up morty or a clone who lost his memory or wanted a different name? Just like spiderman's clone Ben Reilly.
