Helen Reddy performs Emotion from her 1974 album Free And Easy and The Best Of Helen Reddy. Written by French songwriters Véronique Sanson and Patti Dahlstrom as Amoureuse, Emotion reached #1 on the Billboard Easy Listening chart in 1975. The ballad is the follow up to Helen Reddy's last hit I Am Woman.

Update September 29, 2020: Helen Reddy, who shot to stardom in the 1970s with her feminist anthem “I Am Woman” and recorded a string of other hits, has died in Los Angeles. She was 78.
