JANE ANSAH FOUNDATION DONATES 15 COWS TO MUSLIMS FOR EID AL-ADHA CELEBRATIONS

The Dr. Jane Ansah Foundation has said it remains committed to complementing government efforts in supporting vulnerable and marginalized groups across the country.

Executive Director of the foundation, Yusuf Nthenda, made the remarks during the donation of 15 cows to Muslims at Madina Mosque in Lilongwe as part of Eid al-Adha celebrations.

Nthenda said the foundation works with partners to deliver humanitarian support to disadvantaged communities, especially those who are often overlooked by existing support systems. He said the initiative aims to improve livelihoods and promote dignity among vulnerable groups.

Meanwhile, the foundation said its interventions are designed to ensure that essential support reaches people in need, complementing government efforts in addressing social and economic challenges.

Muslim leaders welcomed the donation, saying it came at a significant time during Eid al-Adha. Sheikh Abdulhakeem Mussah expressed gratitude for the gesture, saying it would help underprivileged families who cannot afford meat to fully participate in the celebrations through shared meat distribution.
