Exposed Boat Wreck Lake Perris.
My buddy Rob and I paddle out to Alessandro Island in Lake Perris and find a wrecked boat that looks like it has been there since 1997. We've
paddled out to the island several times in the last couple years but have never seen this wrecked boat in the past because the water level has always been 7-10' higher and this boat has been submerged below the water. I think we must have paddled right over this several times without ever noticing it.
On the way out to the island we made a detour to the northeast section of the lake where there are a bunch of partially submerged trees and it has a very swampy look unlike other parts of the lake. We also encountered many thick algae blooms on the lake this day. Maybe this was due to the low water levels, I'm not sure.
I added some footage from my other video we filmed on Alessandro Island to compare the water levels in relation to the teepee that is on the island. You can see that in Feb of 2021 the water level went to within a few feet of the teepee, but by November of 2021 you can see the beach in front of the teepee was a good 80' to the water.
We also walked around the Island again to see if we could find the coyotes but did not have any luck this time.
