In this video Jim Gibson describes the first phase of a cabling project, pre-cable. Jim is in San Diego working with TelData a professional cable installing company. There are three phases to a cabling job.
The first phase which we describe in this video is called "Pre-cable". The second phase is called "set finish". The third phase is "test label and document". In this video Jim describes the California state building codes that you must follow when you are cabling a building. He will also talks about the structure of the building that the technicians are cabling in and how to pull computer cable through the ceiling. As a cable professional you need to know these details. TelData is a great company in San Diego that we have known about for decades . We have not been paid for this endorsement however if you're in San Diego and you need a professional cabling company please call TelData and let them know that you heard about them through our video.
