The architect behind the design of Ørestad Gymnasium Kim Herforth Nielsen revisits the school and joins principal Allan Kjær Andersen for a tour of the building. They also discuss the ideas behind the architecture and the education offered here.
The architecture of Ørestad Gymnasium is created to nourish the school's pedagogy - aiming at a flexible and structured use of different learning environments.
Designed by 3xN, the building is an open space where all activities are visible to everybody in order to facilitate communication and inspire each other.
