I always wash my hands and let them fully dry at air before handling the device - towels may be contaminated with sweet food marks

The bottle with strips must be stored from 40F to 85F (4C to 30C). This is important to keep the strips in good condition for long term - they have enzymes which may start to deteriorate after a while at higher or lower temperatures. The meter itself (the electronic device) can operate and give blood sugar readings from 40F (5C) to 100F (45C). However, the strips should not be stored above 85F (30C).

From manual instructions: if you move the meter to a new temperature, allow 20 minutes for the meter to adapt to the new temperature

Never leave the bottle in direct sun light or on hot surfaces.

My room is very humid, so I never open the bottle inside the room, I go outside, open the bottle to remove a strip, close the bottle and bring it inside.

If for some reason your room is very hot or you have to travel by car on travel in a hot environment, I would keep the strips in a cooler bag with some ice but make sure the ice doesn't come in contact with the bottle. Do not store the bottle in the fridge.

The green light during a test means you are inside the normal range however this range also covers food intake. Be sure to ask your doctor or read online the normal range of values depending on your medical condition and your recent
food intake.

The d.m. when adjusting the date means day / month - you can change to m.d. month / day
