James Last - Kirchenglocken zur Weihnachtszeit (1973)

From his second Christmas album Weihnachten & James Last, the late great James Last performs his orchestral composition Kirchenglocken zur Weihnachtszeit (Church Bells At Christmastime). The piece features audio clips of ringing bells from various prominent churches in Germany, as well as bells from Bethlehem. Note: St. Michael's Cathedral in Hamburg was the location of numerous Christmas concerts by James Last, and it was also where Last's memorial service was held in July 2015.
