How to Build an Ant Farm | All in One Concrete Formicarium

An in-depth guide on how to make a formicarium (ant farm). In this third episode of the series, we show you how to design an “all in one” using AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete). The end designs offer the ants both a nesting medium, and an outworld (foraging area), the essential components in which an ant colony will need to thrive! Live Australian ant colonies are then introduced to these formicaria. Including..Funnel Ants (Aphaenogaster longiceps), Rainbow Ants (Iridomyrmex sp.) and Toothless Bull Ants (Myrmecia piliventris). Only the simplest of tools and materials are required to follow along. So, we sure hope you do!
