After 6 long months without running water at our off-grid cabin—melting snow just to get by—it’s finally time to turn the water system back on. And we were MORE than ready.

But almost immediately… things don’t go as planned.

Our main water tank is broken, and just like that, we’re facing the reality of still having no running water. Out here, there’s no quick fix—if something breaks, you either figure it out or go without.
