Founding of national Association of colored graduate nurses

On August 25, 1908, Black nurses came together in New York City to create the National Association of Colored Graduate Nurses.
Led by pioneers like Martha Minerva Franklin and Adah Belle Samuels Thoms, they fought segregation in healthcare and opened doors that continue to inspire future generations of nurses.
