These bows can be purchased from special Bluegleam merchants found across the Cut and can only be purchased once in each playthrough. These bows would be replaced by their Adept versions in New Game+
Banuk variant bows have an exclusive "Overdraw" mechanic. This mechanic works by giving these bows higher peak in string draw that would be signaled by an audio cue from the DUALSHOCK speaker and a visual change on the reticle should players reach it, holding the shot beyond this point will not add more power. The power boost applies per-arrow and not distributed, thus using Double Shot or Triple Shot will not weaken individual arrows. Higher Handling attribute will quicken the charge-up to reach peak firing power.
