2023 Creative Economy Report Panel | Otis College of Art and Design

Commissioned by Otis College of Art and Design and authored by CVL Economics, The Otis College Report on the Creative Economy is a vital resource that focuses on the impact of creative industries on the economies of Los Angeles and California. The 2023 release event included a welcome by Charles Hirschhorn, President, Otis College of Art and Design; a presentation of key 2023 Report data by Adam Fowler, Partner, CVL Economics; and a panel discussion on “Gaming and the Digital Shift in Art and Design,”featuring perspectives from across the worlds of gaming, art, and design, followed by audience Q&A.

Since 2007, The Otis College Report on the Creative Economy has highlighted the essential role of California's creative industries on the state's overall economy. It has been used by diverse stakeholders including arts education advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, and government entities. Widely referenced and circulated, recent reports have received thousands of downloads throughout the U.S. and in more than 60 countries.
