Painting or white washing and elevates the look of these popular clay pots and gives them a distressed patina. You can use such distressing techniques quickly whitewash or aging wood furniture, clay tiles and much more, as well! Just a reminder that if you live in cold regions, you should bring your clay pots indoors during the late fall and winter months. Ice will crack your pots.
