An email alias allows you to create one or more additional email addresses for your Office 365 email account. An email alias uses the same contact list, account settings and inbox as your primary email address.

If you want to provide your customers with specific email addresses for contacting you – say one that starts with “info@” for general questions and another that starts with “service@” for customer service – but you don’t want to buy additional email accounts, then adding aliases is the way to go.

Here’s the easiest way to add an alias. Go to office.godaddylogin.com. Click your Office 365 email account, enter your password, and click Sign In.
Click Admin. Then, in the left menu, click Users.
Select the checkbox for your primary email address.
On the right, next to your primary email address, click Edit.
Click Add new. In the text box type the new alias.
Leave the checkbox next to “Set as primary email address” unchecked, and click the Add button.

You’ll see the new alias under your primary email address. If you’re happy with it, click Save.

Now you can make your new “info@” alias available to customers who want general information about your business or offerings. Their messages are delivered to the same inbox as messages sent to your primary email address. You can sort the messages by email alias, making it easier for you to prioritize your replies.
