How to Build a Digitally Controlled Electric Kiln/Foundry

Kilns are extremely useful tools for a hug assortment of projects. From pottery, to metal melting, to supercapacitors they are useful for anything that requires extremely high temperature. That said, they can also be prohibitively expensive, so getting started with these hobbies and research areas can seem like an insurmountable challenge. Luckily, building one of these simple devices is not only straight forward, it's also far cheaper than buying a new or used kiln.
