HOW TO TAKE THE SCANNER FROM A PRINTER WITH THE BIULD IN SCANNER

In this video I make a nice project where I rebuild my printer with built in scanner into a scanner. I did it because I need to free up my space in my small electronic hobby workshop. This was one day weekend project. I did use mostly home supplies. Only some small, unimportant items were bought, I mean hot glue sticks, bolts, nuts... My Lexmark printer went into a little reconstruction, and now I am proud that I have s scanner for (nearly) free and some more space in my hobby workshop.

This project came from a necessity to rebuild printer with a scanner and turn it into a scanner in order to free my space in my hobby workshop.

I can say that I enjoyed this converting printer into a scanner project. If you like you can do similar things with your printer with a scanner or printer + scanner and you can have scanner form it like that.
I consider this as an ideal DIY project and a useful printer weekend project.
