Concert between explosions - KharkivMusicFest-2022 in subway shelter

On 26 March, for the fifth time, KharkivMusicFest planned to offer the residents and visitors of Kharkiv an unforgettable music festival. Despite the difficult times for our city, despite the explosions and cannon thunder, KharkivMusicFest remains with its citizens. Destroyed by bombs and shells, but resilient, the city of Kharkiv will continue to resonate with classical music.

On 26 March on the platform of the metro station "Historical Museum" there was a symbolic opening of KharkivMusicFest-2022 - "Concert between the explosions". The string quintet played a programme of classical masterpieces by Bach, Schubert, Dvorak and Skoryk, as well as arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs written especially for this concert by the young Kharkiv composer and conductor Vladimir Bogatyryov.

This is a concert of classical music performed by Kharkiv citizens for the people of Kharkiv in the name of unity, peace and freedom. Kharkiv will stand and Ukraine will win!
