Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.

We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.

While the wait is a little longer, we are incredibly excited for players to experience the sprawling state of Leonida and a return to modern day Vice City.

Today, I want to talk about one of the most anticipated games in history — GTA 6. Ever since the first trailer dropped, the internet has exploded with excitement, discussions, and of course, countless leaks and rumors. Everyone keeps asking the same question: What’s the official release date? When does it come out?

Rockstar has been incredibly secretive, but what we’ve seen so far — from official trailers to leaked screenshots — promises a game that will redefine open-world gameplay. The setting appears to be a modern-day version of Vice City, with new cities, locations, and stunning environments. The map looks massive, probably one of the biggest Rockstar has ever created.

Fans are also wondering about the characters. Who will we play as? Will any old characters return? And what about the voice actors — will they bring the same unforgettable energy that made GTA V’s story so iconic?
