The First and Second Industrial Revolution Explained & Compared in One Minute: Dates/Facts/Economics

For almost 200,000 years since allegedly appearing in Eastern Africa, our species... well, didn't really do much.

Nowadays however, with the first and second industrial revolutions being eloquent examples, that is hardly the case. More significant leaps can be seen within one generation than after tens of thousands of years back in the proverbial day.

What does the 1st industrial revolution tell us about who we are?

What about the 2ns industrial revolution?

By explaining what the first industrial revolution was all about, doing the same for the second industrial revolution and comparing the two, we'll be able to better understand why we are where we are today.

First and foremost, the first and second industrial revolutions should make it clear that our species is not only going places but doing so at an extremely accelerated pace. To prepare for the future, understanding the dates, facts and of course economics behind the first and second industrial revolution is a must.
