Recycled Reviews #4 - 15 Whiskies Reviewed in 15 mins

Another 15 empties give up a little pleasure for me before a final goodbye. Please don't take the scoring too seriously. Apply your rational intelligence and follow the spirit of this review rather than the letter, or er...number. I try to score whiskies based on how they should be judged against their contemporaries. That is, in the context of how they are intended. Should a Johnny Walker Red Label only receive 6 out of 10 against a £100 single malt's 9 out of 10? No. I don't think so. As a blend, JWR is damn consistent and great at what it does. For that is deserves more - and should never be compared to a premium sipping malt.

The whiskies this time around are Glendronach 8yo "The Hielan", Craigellachie 13yo, Tomatin 12yo and Legacy (Dualchas), Nikka Coffey Malt, Compass Box Spice Tree, Kininvie 17yo & 23yo, Glenfarclas 10yo, Linkwood 12yo, Deanston 12yo, Royal Brackla 16yo, Jura Prophecy, AnCnoc 12, Lagavulin 12yo CS SR 2017.
