YembiYembi receive the Bible

In the early 2000s, a missionary team moved into the YembiYembi tribe in Papua New Guinea to begin the work of planting a church among that people group. With God’s good favor, they labored for 13 years learning the YembiYembi language to fluency, developed an alphabet and taught literacy, presented the Gospel, completed a translation of the New Testament, and established a church with indigenous elders and deacons. The team then left the area with the Yembi church able to minister and function on its own.
This video commemorates the glorious moment and celebration the YembiYembi church experienced when the Yembi Bible was delivered and dedicated. To God be the glory!
