Holliston Massachusetts!

Now why am I talking about Holliston?

Oh yeah! For over 30 years a family owned, and operated construction company has been using Mack Trucks here in Holliston. First Gear took notice of these fancy trucks and contacted them to make 1:64th scale models of their trucks. They made a Mack Superliner with a Talbert Traveling Axle trailer and a Mack R Model Tandem Axle Dump Truck. These models exquisitely replicate the real trucks in their fleet.

I guess I had better say what construction company owns these beautiful Mack trucks. It is Santucci Construction Inc.

Santucci Construction is an excavation specialist. Big or small, they will take care of your needs with extreme professionalism. They have the equipment to handle any job and take great pride in their equipment.

New England has always favored Mack Trucks. Construction companies have also favored Mack Trucks. So, it makes sense that a New England based Construction company is using Mack trucks.

Can I say Mack Trucks again?

Santucci Construction not only runs Mack trucks, but they also take extreme pride in their beautiful Mack Trucks. Deep maroon colors with polished wheels, chromes stacks and bumpers. You can imagine that Dump trucks are not the easiest to keep clean, but Santucci keeps theirs spotless and polished.

First Gear had to step up their game a little to match the paint scheme and polish of the real trucks and let’s head down to the rock quarry and talk about one of the Santucci Construction releases…

I know Mack R Model Dump Trucks are pretty small in 64th scale, but they look so much more common out there than the Tri, Quad, and 5 axle Pete’s DCP came out with years ago and have pretty much been forgotten since. For my diorama, I’d rather have these old tandem axle Macks to do construction work. My only wish is a tandem axle tag trailer and hitch to go with these Macks so I can haul my backhoe out to the jobsite.
