Around 500 people danced on Karlovacs streets on Saturday in honour of Michael Jackson.

Dancers from Karlovac, Zagreb, Split, Belgrade and other cities were gathered together by local dance club "Promenada". They had been learning moonwalk steps for a month.

The dance show was followed by well-known song "Beat It" that lasted for three minutes at three city locations.

Karlovac is the first Croatian city to have had a "Tribute to Michael Jackson" street show. Many residents joined spontaneously in the dancing.

The show was recorded a by professional cameraman from Sardinia (Play Monkey Family) who had already recorded it in Calgary.

The action, started a year ago by Italian dancers, has also taken place in London, New York, Montreal and other cities.
